History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
