Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vlorn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Isabella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: Bhevek lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a Sellsword soon after.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: Hlin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Being a Mason kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
