Description: This malnourished woman is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her skin is flawless and her violet eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Jillian hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Jillian took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands

She carries with her a set of scythes on her belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. Her black fur, when down, is lengthy. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.
History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His golden hair is heavily combed to the right. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. Pikar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Pikar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Bundrigo enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Bundrigo was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Avice grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero.
