He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
