She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Jaxi and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids.
