Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her trident with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She became a Mortician soon after.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: Taklinn is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Malquis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
