History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When Kelter reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Eleanor abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: Tim speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To be a Bricklayer again; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dara does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Dara was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Calcitro never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He was born in the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

History: Lavinia was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.
