History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She hates Tieflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Xanaphia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her childhood dream was to be a Performer, but she was a colossal failure. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Howard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
