It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Shipwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
