History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own.
