The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Dalgal took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jarana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Diggory was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
