Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Thomas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: Emeny hails from a village terrorized by orcs. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

History: Sweet was born with her mother's beautiful face. A gifted student she started as a Shoemaker, but she got bored and became a Carpenter. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carpenter for the past few years.
