History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Carpenter soon after.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

He did whatever it took for him to survive. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Ruler and occasionally as a mercenary.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He found a children's book about a Gnome Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She became a Jeweler soon after.
