She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
