At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naill is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Naill liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Tawna was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
