Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. His tied-back hair is auburn. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 42. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and revenge

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Shaena was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and further expansion of business

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sun grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sun. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
