History: Uthemar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Andraste is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often

History: Reeza was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She became a Performer soon after.
