Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alston embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. After coming to the age of reason, Alston took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Alston and his spouse have recently divorced.
