She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
