History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. Norman abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
