After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Murook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: An older man who is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is dark red and very short. His eyes are white and catlike.

Personality: Zephan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Zephan was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Lamlis was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Lamlis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lamlis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Adventurer. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
