History: Gifted from a young age, Bertram studied abroad. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Ownka was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ownka decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
