Upon awakening, Kelter discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and he desires power and/or immortality
