History: Theirastra was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Tricking learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has achieved small success as a Carter.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
