Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and seeks redemption

History: Oriel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Carlin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She feeds upon the attention of others.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
