History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After months of barely getting by, Uzza managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Jaxi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jaxi. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Through the years after Balifra was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balifra's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother').
