History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Valida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Anselm took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Born in the east to a Jeweler, Godfrey learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
