Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Cora hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Cora was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cora's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Saphara and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Shifting lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While she appears to be a normal Tabaxi, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
