History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat, and is pretty ugly. She has styled her blonde hair well, parting it to the right. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Donella took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

She prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available she will default to her morningstar. She keeps her chestnut hair in a pixie cut. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a brown scarf. Her blonde hair is heavily combed to the right. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and she is greedy
