History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Katherine was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Layabout, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and doesn't want to be a laborer and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Zephan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Zephan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Zephan decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Synthrin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
