The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Tawar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Claira was born with her father's beautiful face. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She tends to her Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Dûsh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: River was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
