Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Navigator. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

History: Werydd lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Herbalist, and she later adopted a second son.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Faran was a troubled youth. Faran decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
