History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Howard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Howard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Howard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Elegant hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Miller. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miller.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Astar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Astar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
