History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He takes great joy in being the best Shepherd in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kaladan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Zedaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Varg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.

Personality: Saphara hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Marigold is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Marigold abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents and is in decent physical shape. She has black hair. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Zagga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
