Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Ella hails from a village terrorized by drow. At some point she was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: She is greedy; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: This eastern man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His clothes are grease stained in places. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Adventurer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Althaea is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Dadalan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has achieved small success as a Banker.
