Description: This malnourished man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His red hair is knotted and matted. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Joser was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Joser's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to end his boredom

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He wears his dark red hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Astar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Dyer like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Engraver again; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are black and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

Ideals: Entrepeneur, Philantrophist, Joker. Bonds: Immigrant, Job. Occupation: Tanner

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Torgga never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She is fixated on the number 36. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Andram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
