History: River hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered drow who tried to eat her hand. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: She got into the Beggar business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
