History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When Anselm reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. During his travels, Miles and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Miles discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Miles fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
