History: Roywyn lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new interpreter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Detective business.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Kallista was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kallista's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Traki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Dagger was born with her father's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Aelar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.
