History: River hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She's also a talented Barrister, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now mingles about in high society.
