The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Engong was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Engong decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bounty Hunter for hire.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
