History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Marbas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her father struggled to pay the bills. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Tawna was born the youngest of three triplets. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Berrian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
