Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shump fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Bagabug does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bagabug was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Bryseis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Bryseis was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.
