History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
