Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a Dilettante, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emmeline embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Yebe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.
