Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gillyd took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor she uses now.
