History: Altho hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Halfling Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Altho was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture
