History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Gifted from a young age, Spring studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She has a long golden ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Engong enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age her mother died while driving off some drow. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in lance use. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Engong fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Cloak was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Purban was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Purban and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care, and he perpetually has his sai ready. His crest is silver, silky, and of moderate length. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. Her brown fur is still thick. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Tree's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tree. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and seeks redemption

Description: 3'1" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears just a red suit. Sporting a blonde mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Nelkin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Nelkin was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well
