History: Semyaza was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Malquis grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Hlin learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Hlin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up club and armor she uses now. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Aasathra was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Tanglar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Galinndan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
