She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Rolen was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a Herbalist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Torz never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
